The Year is the leader of all killing shas

The Month governs the rise and fall of timely luck

The Day is the master of the four pillars as it controls the outcome of luck and disasters.

The Hour is the servant of the Day – as it provides the result of the four pillars and completes the cycle of an Auspicious Day Selection.

天不得時，日月無光。
地不得時，萬物不生。
水不得時，風浪不靜。
人不得時，利路不通。
鬼不得時，地獄不超。
神不得時，求之不靈。

When Heaven is not in time 
The sun and moon will not shine

When Earth is not in time
The land will be barren with no sign of growth

When Water is not in time
The seas will not be calm

When the Person is not in time
He will find dead ends at every turn 

When the Ghost is not in time
It will forever be trapped in purgatory

When the Deity is not in time
No wishes will be granted to come true
